What can I do to prepare for my Design Appointment?
In preparation for your first design appointment, please review the list of options and the accompanied pricing provided in the gold colored, Design Studio folder that was presented to you at time of Reservation. Please review this list ahead of time to have a better sense for what you would like to add to your new home. You may want to check with your Lender prior to your appointment to see if additional costs can be incorporated into your total financing package If you have furniture fabrics, bedspreads, or pillows that you wish to match, please bring them with you so that we may help you coordinate the perfect color scheme.

How much time can I expect to spend at the Design Studio?
Please allow 2 – 2.5 hours for each appointment. Depending on the extent of options ordered and the time at which you purchased your home, you can expect from two to five appointments with your Designer

On average, how long does it take to finish a house, based on the day framing begins?
It normally takes 8 months to complete a house. The exact time depends on the house size and the options chosen.

Why are there different cut-offs for design selections?
Brookfield Design has specially selected a variety of upgrade option opportunities for your new home. The options have been separated into four groups depending on the stage of construction. All options are ordered as a package for each construction phase. In order to better estimate your delivery and move-in date, it is important that there are no changes to the options past the Cut-off date. If you have purchased your home when construction is already underway, consult with your Brookfield Sales Representative or Designer to understand what group of options are available, as well as what the specific cut-off dates may be.
