ORANGE COUNTY FAMILY FINDS OUTSTANDING VALUE AT COLONY PARK

ANAHEIM, CA —Colony Park’s historic architecture and attention to artistic detail immediately grabbed the attention of homeshoppers Michael Gilmore and Lan Luong Gilmore. But what compelled the couple to buy at Anaheim’s most popular new-home collection was the community’s Legacy Residence 4, which provides energy-efficient features and tremendous value per square foot.

Offering four bedrooms, four and one-half baths, and an attached two-car garage, Residence 4’s open, flowing floorplan had everything the Gilmores wanted—and more. The floorplan presents three stories of spacious, well-designed living space in approximately 1,970 square feet. Legacy’s Residence 4 is priced from the mid $400,000.

The couple recently closed escrow and love every square foot of their new home, as well as the Colony Park community as a whole. “Colony Park’s design, attention to detail, pool, barbeque, and park area convinced us that this was the community for us,” said Lan Gilmore. “Another plus: the homes are energy efficient and environmentally responsible.”

According to Lan, some of Residence 4’s most outstanding features include the home’s open floorplan, romantic fireplace, spacious balconies, third-floor master bedroom, and the home’s abundant natural light. “Our favorite rooms in the house are the living room and kitchen area because the space is open and great for entertaining,” added Lan.

Originally from Santa Ana, the Gilmores searched throughout Orange County for a new home. “We checked out Lennar, Centex, and William Lyon, which all had acceptable designs,” said Lan. “However, most of those homes came with Mello-Roos, higher HOA dues, and guest parking was unavailable.”

Colony Park provides abundant guest parking and has no Mello-Roos.

Colony Park’s thoughtfully designed outdoor amenities are perfect for capturing a moment of solitude or for entertaining family and friends. Compass Park, the community’s resort-style amenity, offers a private pool, park and pavilion. “We’ve used the pool and small park areas,” stated Lan. “The pool is open, but not out in the open and the park is easily accessible and great for pets.” A perfect set-up for the Gilmores, who own puppies.

The Gilmores weren’t only impressed by Colony Park’s Legacy Residence 4; they were also extremely satisfied with the Colony Park sales team and their overall homebuying experience. “From the beginning to the end, every one was very accessible and helpful. We felt assured that this community was a wise choice,” Lan stated.

Built by Brookfield Homes, the Colony Park community is comprised of Harmony and Legacy. Both new-home neighborhoods reflect the style, warmth, and details for which Brookfield is known.

Colony Park is centrally located in the Anaheim Colony Historic District, with convenient access to the 5 freeway, as well as the 57, 22, and 91 freeways.
